Free online course
Mental health for young people
A team of enthusiastic experts is currently developing a free online course on mental health, tailor-made to young people’s needs and communication styles. This so-called MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) will be available from January 15, 2018.
In this MOOC, we teach young people how to recognize common mental problems and what they can do about them. The course material consists of explanation videos, personal stories, animation videos, short exercises and interviews.
It is suitable for autonomous use by adolescents from about the age of fourteen. But certainly also for teachers, parents and others who are interested in the mental health of young people.
The online course will be available (free of charge) on the FutureLearn online platform from January 15, 2018. For more information, a trailer for a first impression and early registration go to MOOCpsy.umcg.nl/en or go to Future learn.
